Ramya Shivkumar is the Youth Environmental Leadership Program Director at Green Cell, where her passion is directed towards utilizing her extensive expertise in sustainability to create actionable initiatives for k-12 students, driving positive change within her local community.

With a career spanning over 18 years in the green building industry, Ramya has excelled as an architect, building performance specialist, LEED reviewer, and engineering service project manager. Her leadership extends to spearheading sustainability consulting services for prominent engineering and architectural firms, where she has played a pivotal role in creating sustainable solutions for clients.

Outside of her professional commitments, Ramya's commitment to sustainability shines through her volunteer work with USGBC High Performance Healthy Schools. Her dedication to education and innovation is further demonstrated by her role as a judge in various county science fair competitions.
